Park Eun-bin courted for the special lead role as a lawyer version of her soon!
On June 9, the actress’ agency Namoo Actors told Korean media outlets, “Park Eun-bin has received an offer to appear in the new drama Unusual Lawyer Woo Young-woo and is reviewing it positively.”
Park Eun-bin made her debut in 1998 as a child actress in the drama White Nights 3.98. Twenty-three years later, she has now become a highly admired artist who boasts acting credits from at least 28 television shows. The Ghost Detective (2018), Hot Stove League (2019), and Do You Like Brahms? (2020) are some of the most recent series that Park participated in. Aside from the proposed project, the 28-year-old actress is also on the radar for the upcoming romantic sageuk (historical drama) Affection, which she will be headlining with SF9’s Rowoon (She Would Never Know).
Unusual Lawyer Woo Young-woo tells the story of a 27-year-old woman with Asperger’s Syndrome (AS) who works as a lawyer at a large law firm. An autism spectrum disorder, AS is characterized by difficulties in social interaction and non-verbal communication, along with restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior and interests. However, people with AS differ from those with other autism disorders in that they have relatively unimpaired language and intelligence. If she accepts the proposal, Park Eun-bin will be portraying the titular character Woo Young-woo.
Unusual Lawyer Woo Young-woo is reportedly under discussion to air on the terrestrial network SBS.
